As part of the ever-popular Obscura session at Inspire — where ACEs give lightning-style talks celebrating the sheer breadth of crazy problems that Alteryx can solve — I will be presenting my version of the classic gameshow 'Play Your Cards Right' built entirely in Alteryx Designer. By dynamically chaining analytical applications and conditionally rewriting XML, I’ve recreated the whole Brucie experience all on the desktop. Nathan will also be showcasing his Alteryx ridiculousness during this year's Obscura session at Inspire. In his on-the-nose demonstration of 'The Excel-cutioner', he'll show how, with a healthy dose of randomising, hashing, and general mess-about-ery, we can finally teach those pesky Excel-dependent stakeholders a lesson. Featuring a tiered approach ranging from 'playing not-so-nice' to 'complete obliteration', developers can choose just how mean they want to be towards end-users.
