Nick Jastrzebski

Consultant

At The Information Lab, my role encompasses various technical aspects, primarily focusing on back-end administration and architecture. Problem-solving and devising solutions are aspects of my job that I truly enjoy.

I spearhead our Tableau Cloud Migration projects. My responsibilities include helping customers comprehend the intricacies of their on-premise Tableau deployments and guiding them on how to transition these to the cloud.

I've been with The Information Lab for 5 years. As part of the 10th Data School cohort, I've worked with various organisations to create data solutions using Tableau and Alteryx. During my tenure as a core consultant, I've expanded my skills and knowledge in server architecture and cloud computing to become a key member of our managed services team.

Prior to delving into data, I worked as an environmental risk modeler and completed a master's degree in Geology with Planetary Science at the University of Manchester.

Food for the Soul

Outside of the office, I enjoy making music, primarily with my guitar. Although I'm still learning music theory, I love experimenting and finding new sounds.

I enjoy spending time in the kitchen, usually working on my next loaf of bread. I’m often out and about walking my dog Hugo, a sheepadoodle with a curiosity to match mine. You'll also regularly find me at the pool putting in some lengths.

To relax, I enjoy playing games. I have an ever-growing collection of board games which I take any opportunity to get to the table. I’m always looking out for the next video game to lose myself in.
